This are probably this world’s only source to buy such a spare!!😱🙏🤙
This project has just finished with great results as you can see. It was a difficult one because of geometry and anodizing colour and some other details.
After some tests the axles colour matched by multi bath anodizing in several steps. Also screws outer edge has been a little expanded, because it is known this is a weak point. Needless so say material is optimized.
You probably know that Marzocchi presented this optimized Axle for the 2014/2015 great Products Shows for the legendary Marzocchi Fork 380!!
Marzocchi 380 Fork is the legendary successor of the 888 Fork.
It took some runs to get this baby’s done, but I have the first batch here now and did some tests here some minutes ago. It fit’s very well, I will post more photos in my blog and @ Insta.
You usualy need a set of clamps with left + right version to fix the axle, but I decided to do a ‘unisex’ one which fits both sides.
Unfortunately the new grub screws made out of stainless steel are missing the allen hex key inside
So we have to do that little grub screw again or you can use your old one please ….
I created this clamps first, but did not decide about making also the other small bits yet (pomelo screw etc.).
FedEx did a hero thing and delivered a nice parcel with this ECC ETA Levers (and the Ahead Steerer) todays morning (3 Days from China!)🚀⚡🥇🤙
You probably know this levers Marzocchi developed starting with the ECC cartridges, later ETA ones also. The first where made out of plastic (black) and get constantly broken, later they built this ones out of Aluminium.
It’ always nice to do a 3D CAD Model and send it to production. There are always some small details you have to learn in every production, that’s what I like most.
The later when it arrives it is always a big surprise and if it is all good, fits the needs, it is Heaven + Xmas.✨🎄🔧
This Steerers made out of 7075 are one of the parts I wanted to do a long time. You probably know that aluminium steerer nowadays are produced by extruding, they lack a good surface, geometry & tolerances, means : you can’t press it well!
You can read in my BLOG about some details, as usual there are msome morte informations about my projects.
I created my own Steerer using the older Marzocchi lathed Steerer as a base, it is with optimized tolerances for save pressing, a conic middle part to take forces in a better way and in all it has a very little enhanced wall thickness.
In the end we polished and anodized it black, which makes it very special .
Thanks to all Pre-Buyers and your patience – you see we are in the end now, just need some days to deliver to me and I send ASAP!

Marzocchi Foot Nuts Project – in Production know!!🔧💖🤙
Update!!✨✨ PROGRESS⚡👊🤙
All this 24x Marzocchi Foot Nuts & Screws from ~1996-2018 have been selected to be reproduced now. No joke.
It took about a year to collect all the data, the master samples (2 pcs each), creating pictures, some cool excel list & all the 3D modell data + drawings.
I hope to have the first ones here before Xmas!✨🎄
I will post more details in my Blog later, including a list of supporters from DE, PL, NZ, FR, CAN, NOR and more.
There will be a list online including all the data : o-rings, key size, threads, forks list & links where you can pre-order.
++ If you can support or need other ones I don’t show here : PLEASE DO!! ++
New Marzocchi Z1 Disc Adapter 1996+ Formular (FS) -> International Standard (IS)
Another Part I wanted to do for years as I have about 25 orange Marzocchi Z1 from the beginning having Formular Disc Mounts.
Peoples like the legendary Marzocchi Z1 and after a repaint I will sell them and I like to have Disc Adapters for them using Disc Brakes!
You probably know Marzocchi startet building the orange Z1 in 1996 with Formular (FS) Standard Disc Brakes – that was the defacto Standard in that time – and later around 1999 they switched to IS.
This adapter is similiar to the well known Magura one, it will not fit to all Brake Disc Brands & Types, but with little adustments it is a perfect base & can be make easy to fit.
Further more I have been asked about Fomular Standard (FS) to Post Mount (PM) Adapter!
This is an easy task :
simply take this adapter, it defines FS & IS standard geometry and needed parts locations
this is a rock solid adapter, able to handle a sit-on adapter
add a Post Mount (PM) Adapter; as there are a lot of PM Adapters, take the one which is related to your Disc Sizes
Left is a Shimano Disc Brake using additional PM Adapter with 180mm Disc Size.
Right Side is an unknown Disc Brake using additional PM Adapter with 160mm Disc Size.
