I have received the 1st set of tools I created the 3D models for. Found a very cool guy who did the turning and milling for me, as he has better machines for it THANKS, Wolfgang!!
I got the idea to do also the tools during working on my ‘30mm Bomber Seals Project‘ which means I’m doing a 1:1 reproduction of seals).
This are 2 handy tools for servicing Bombers (here: for 30mm Bombers only, other dimensions will follow) which are very helpful in 2 ways:
By using the Slider Protector you can lever the oil seal without damaging the slider
With the Oil Seal Insertion Tool you can press the oil- and the dust seal in a defined way (verticaly, evenly).
I show you the originals from Mazocchi, which are very expensive :

This gallery is about the optimized tools I have created now :

My Marzocchi Bomber Tools 30mm
Notes:
my Slider Protector is more flat to make it more easiert to lever the oil seal out
my slider protector is for the older slider (single ones) only! It does not work for the different M-Arch types!!
the Slider Protector has a larger outside diameter : so you can hold it better in hand, lying on the slider, and have better support for your lever (the screwdriver?)
the Oil Seal Insertion Tool is made out of high-impact plastic to protect seals & bushings (the original one was out of metal and had not that smooth surface. As you push it into the bushing during oil seal press-in I was afraid of damaging the bushing!)
I’m planing to offer ‘All-Inclusive-Service-Kits’ means : Bomber Seal Kit + Tools to do your own service.
Well, over the years I had no good solution to clamp all the round parts (slider, stanchions, cartridges etc.) fork have for disassembling or assembling. Sometimes I won against a problem, sometimes I lost part.
There are some very difficult cases like unscrewing the XC400 (and similar older forks from the XC Series) top screw units or unmounting the seals from a Bombers slider, where you need a strong and suitable clamp.
Another good example is a Bombers cartridge, if you want to unscrew the threadened head of a cardrige as I did it here. You seriouly can’t unscrew it without having such a tool, you will destroy the cartridge for sure! Here is a picture from such a condition using a Z1 rebound cartridge and a 8mm jaw set:

I was happy to find this parts by accident and ordered a set in a minute as my Xmas present 😉
I can tell you that this tools do the trick very well and as I use them almost in a daily matter I’m very happy to own them. Look at the pictures, you will nuderstand what I mean. The 2 basic parts are magnetic and hold themselfes in a vise.
And for sure: I will break less things during my work using this tools …!
As you might know the most needed tools for the older XC Marzocchi’s are the ‘air plug puller’ (reference A) and the ‘press-in tool for oil seals’ (reference C – two versions exist: for 24 or 26mm stanchion tubes).
In the past I tried often to order such tools from Marzochi or dealers from around the world, but had no luck. I got some by buying last parts from bike shops or collections off and got one or two by accident from users, who sold their forks.
As some of you folks like to rebuild your forks yourselve you want to do it by using suitable tools to prevent your work from being damage using wrong tools.
So, after processing the other ‘rebuilding’ project (reprinting decals) here we are, this week I will start with this two. Both Tools will be available within November 2016!
I’m realy happy about, as this is something I wanted to do for many years. YEAH!

Just for you information if you read until here: For other tools I found alternate possibilities in very good quality which might support your doing:
